The Care Quality Commission (CQC) Release The 2021/2022 State Of Care Report

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) have released the 2021/2022 State Of Care report, which looks at the trends, shares examples of good and outstanding care, and highlights where care needs to improve.
This year's report highlights a number of key issues including that today, the health and care system in England is in gridlock and this is clearly having a huge negative impact on people’s experiences of care.
Areas covered in the report include:
- A gridlocked care system
- Inequalities with access to care
- Specific concerns with maternity services, intellectual disability services and mental health services
- Depleted workforce
- Challenges and opportunities in local services
