ViClarity Adds Technology Innovation Leader to Board of Managers

September 9, 2021

Governance, risk and compliance (GRC) technology firm ViClarity today announced it has enhanced the technology and innovation expertise on its board of managers with the addition of new member Dr. Nadilia Gomez.

Gomez, chief technology officer for the Digital and Precision Ag Biosciences Platform at Iowa State University (ISU), brings more than a decade of technology innovation experience to the ViClarity board. She will leverage her skills and expertise in technology, corporate innovation and digital transformation to provide guidance to ViClarity’s executive team and the company’s strategic growth strategy.

Prior to joining ISU, Gomez was the executive director for the Iowa Agritech Accelerator where she worked specifically with ag tech startups, managed investment portfolios and increased corporate investor engagement. In 2019 and 2020, Gomez served as an industry representative on the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council.

Gomez has also worked as a digital pillar leader for the Transformational Innovation Forum at Corteva Agriscience (previously DuPont Pioneer), training more than 100 scientists and 30 intrapreneurs in Lean Startup methodologies and project valuation. During her tenure at DuPont Pioneer, Gomez also served as a senior research scientist and won the Best Data Science and Informatics Presentation and Crop Product Development Innovation awards.

Gomez’s leadership experience and ability to define vision and strategy while anticipating challenges will assist in guiding ViClarity’s strategic decisions.

“I’m thrilled to join the ViClarity board,” said Gomez, who also volunteers as a mentor, speaker and sponsor. “I look forward to working alongside fellow board members and ViClarity leadership to advance innovative technology that helps GRC professionals make difficult business decisions effectively and with confidence.”

“We are pleased to welcome Nadilia to our board of managers and look forward to her expert assistance in guiding our objective to streamline processes for regulated industries,” said ViClarity Global CEO Miriam De Dios Woodward. “As a highly-respected leader and innovator in digital solutions, she will play a valuable role in strengthening ViClarity’s commitment to provide GRC professionals real-time access to business intelligence.”
